Campaign against exclusion and discrimination
Presentation of the results of the Social Work and Communication Design project studies at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences 2019 in the Stadtmuseum am Markt.
Campaign against exclusion and discrimination
From July 3 to 14, 2019, visitors to the Stadtmuseum am Markt were able to see the results of the social work and communication design project studies at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in an exhibition.
As part of an innovative project study, students from the fields of social work and communication design dealt with issues of anti-Semitism and exclusion.
By bringing together social science explanatory models and empirical findings on discrimination on the one hand and communication theory principles and artistic forms of representation on the other, a joint "campaign against exclusion" was created. Both disciplines are linked by the socio-political aim of drawing attention to social grievances and inequalities.
The students' results were implemented in various installations and exhibited in the Marktkeller. For two weeks, visitors had the opportunity to view the works of the individual groups.
