Inauguration of the Federal Statistical Office

On March 1, 1956, the Federal Minister of the Interior, Gerhard Schröder, and the President of the Federal Statistical Office, Gerhard Fürst, signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

The Federal Minister of the Interior, Gerhard Schröder, and the President of the Federal Statistical Office, Gerhard Fürst, accepted an invitation to Wiesbaden City Hall for the official opening of the Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden.

There they emphasized the importance of the Federal Statistical Office and praised the choice of location. The Lord Mayor thanked his guests for their trust in the state capital and expressed his delight that another federal institution had been given its headquarters in Wiesbaden with this office.

The guests then signed the city's Golden Book.
