What parents can expect from this daycare center:
Our daycare center is located in Alt-Kostheim, behind the church, opposite the Carlo Mierendorf elementary school. It is run by the Evangelische Michaelsgemeinde Mainz-Kostheim. There are two mixed-age groups, each with 25 children, which are looked after by 6 pedagogical specialists. With our educational work, we want to contribute to giving the children security and stability in the reality of their lives. The focal points of our work are Religious education, transition from daycare to school, promoting creativity, experiments and excursions and language development. In our daycare center, we work on a partially open basis. In addition to the group rooms, the children have other play areas at their disposal. They can decide for themselves where they want to play and choose their own play areas using a registration board. Lunch is freshly prepared every day.
