What parents can expect from this daycare center:
Our daycare center is located in the southern part of the Hainpark development area in Nordenstadt, with 31 apartments in the building. In future, we will be able to care for a total of 100 children in four permanent elementary groups and two crèche groups. It is important to us to offer the children a child-friendly, prepared environment in the spirit of Freinet's pedagogy, which encourages them to discover and explore. This should invite them to work independently and, in exchange with other children and adults, to explore their world on their own. Based on the daily structures and the additional rooms - movement room, painting studio/wood workshop and a library - we want to offer the children different learning stimuli. A healthy diet also plays a major role in our pedagogical work, and balanced meals are offered daily at the facility, which are fresh, seasonal and prepared in accordance with DGE criteria. We want to give the children a say and offer them the opportunity to help shape their everyday lives. We see the children holistically, which means that each child is supported individually according to their level of development.
