Integration courses BAMF

The integration courses run by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees offer the largest range of German language courses for immigrants.

Each integration course consists of a language course and an orientation course. In the language course, participants learn German up to level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This level is the basis for being able to communicate in everyday life, fill out applications and look for work, for example. The orientation course provides information about German history, culture and the legal system.

Integration courses are fee-based, state-subsidized courses for learning German. Cost exemptions are possible.

Information on registering for integration courses, assistance in finding suitable integration courses or questions about funding can be obtained from the Wiesbadener Servicestelle Deutsch (opens in a new tab) or the migration advice centers in Wiesbaden.
