Patient day

On May 3, 2025, the 18th Patient Day will take place in and in front of Wiesbaden City Hall.

Flyer Patient Day

From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can find out about a wide range of health topics at more than 60 information stands run by local self-help groups and health institutions as well as in many different lectures.

The Wiesbaden Health Department is organizing the event together with the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM), which has once again put together an excellent programme of lectures. Starting at 10 a.m., you can choose between different topics in three lecture rooms. This year's focal points include first aid and emergency medicine, pneumology, climate change and health, cardiac medicine, gastroenterology, dementia, cannabis use, falls in old age, kidney disease, organ transplantation and resilience. The exact program of lectures can be found in the program flyer below.

As every year, there will be a health market with a wide range of topics in the foyer and on the first floor of the town hall, which has been extended to Schlossplatz for the first time this year. At the information stands in the town hall and on Schlossplatz, Wiesbaden's self-help groups and other health organizations will present their services and offer practical health services and hands-on activities, such as hatha yoga on a chair or foot pressure measurements. The public health department will be offering vaccination advice with a vaccination certificate check.

Vehicles from Wiesbaden's emergency services and the ASB ambulance will be on display all day on Schlossplatz. Active visitors can brush up on their first aid skills and complete a fitness test.

The opening ceremony for the 18th Patient Day 2025 will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the large ballroom in Wiesbaden City Hall. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Tankred Stöbe with his lecture "Courage and humanity: How do I make decisions in extreme humanitarian situations?".

We look forward to your visit!
