Choosing the best measures
On January 29, 2025, the ÖKOPROFIT participants of the 2024/2025 entry-level program took stock at St. Josefs-Hospital. In the seventh workshop, the companies and organizations presented their best measures and awarded prizes to three highlights.
Two approaches were chosen as the best measure in the current round of newcomers.
In first place was the Fasanerie Animal and Plant Park with the electrification of its machinery and vehicle fleet. In addition to the purchase of e-bikes, vans and electrical equipment, new e-vehicles are also being purchased.
netorium AG also took first place with its "needs-based heating" measure. By linking smart thermostats and heating controllers with employees' Outlook calendars, they are saving heating energy in a targeted manner.
Third place went to St. Josefs-Hospital with its two hospitals in Wiesbaden and Rheingau. Changing the anaesthetic gas to a more climate-friendly anaesthetic method reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
Further measures will be developed by the end of the project and presented during the certification process in the fall of 2025.
