The Hessian School Act and the Hessian Teachers' Academy define the group of authorized users for the whole of Hesse.

Authorized users are

1. Teaching staff (e.g. teachers, lecturers, trainers, seminar leaders)
2. pedagogical staff, pedagogical specialists (e.g. educators, social pedagogues, child care workers and parent representatives) and learners
3. Employees of the Hessian Ministry of Culture, Education and Opportunities, the Hessian Teachers' Academy and the state education authorities
4. Association and club members (children / young people) and
5. full-time employees

The Edupool Hessen is always free of charge for the individual authorized users.

However, school authorities, other educational institutions and youth and adult education institutions in the area of responsibility of the respective media center must contribute to the financing of the media ("procurement fund of the municipal media centers") in accordance with §162 HSchG. This always happens automatically for publicly funded schools; all other providers are free to decide whether they wish to use the Edupool.

In order to improve data protection, since 2023 authorized users have only registered independently and will then be activated by your media center after a brief check of their authorization.

Use the link below or select "Wiesbaden" on the Edupool homepage and click on Register in the menu at the top right. If required, the following video will also show you this in the picture.

Teachers and students can also access the Edupool via the school portal. Teachers must enter their Edupool access data the first time they use it via the SPH, after which they will no longer need to enter any login data. For students, access is even possible without any further steps! The following image shows the Edupool tile.
