With tutory, you can create illustrative worksheets for learners in no time at all. To do this, you place ready-made modules on the document using drag & drop and fill them with your own content. You can also use millions of free images and graphics from Wikimedia or Opencliparts directly in the application.
Where can I find tutory access in the edupool?
You can log in via your Edupool account: > Tools > tutory. When you log in for the first time, you will be taken to a welcome page where you can define an anonymous user name. All other information on this page is voluntary. Use the introductory video shown afterwards to familiarize yourself with how tutory works in two minutes.
How are my documents saved in tutory?
Tutory is a web application. This means that it does not need to be installed. The application is always up to date every time it is called up. With your edupool login, tutory is available to you on any desktop PC, whether at home or at school. Each document on tutory is a separate web page that is automatically saved on the tutory server (in Germany) while you are working. You download the finished document as a PDF and save it in your folder structure. You can make changes to the document in tutory. An export to MS Word is not offered for technical and presentation reasons.
Does tutory also work with the tablet or interactively?
Currently, tutory can primarily be used to create documents as PDFs. It is also possible to make the document available digitally once it has been published. The team is constantly working on improvements and the general goal of making the created material available interactively.
What is Open Educational Resources and open licenses all about?
Open Educational Resources are openly licensed teaching and learning materials that are always free of charge. This means that you can use and develop the teaching material you find on tutory according to your own requirements and needs. So-called Creative Commons licenses, which can be found on every single piece of content, grant you the corresponding rights of use.
Will my login data be transmitted to tutory?
No. No personal data is transmitted between the provider of the edupool, ANTARES Project GmbH, and tutory.de when you register with tutory. The verification of your access authorization takes place under multiple encryption of your access ID to the edupool. Tutory.de collects data (in the context of so-called HTTP requests) solely to enable the functionality of the application. If you do not enter any personal data in the application yourself (e.g. when publishing documents that you wish to provide voluntarily), tutory only collects the personal date of the IP address.
