The NTFF (Nature & Tourism Film Festival) takes place every two years in Wiesbaden. One of the venues is the well-known Murnau-Filmtheater, where the winning films are awarded and shown. Other venues include the Wiesbaden Natural History Museum, the Caligari FilmBühne, the town hall, the Villa Clementine, the Society for the German Language and the Kronberger Lichtspiele near Frankfurt.

An international jury of experts awards prizes to the most impressive films of recent years from the fields of nature, the environment, travel and tourism. This combination was chosen because a sustainable link between these areas is becoming increasingly important for modern society. Submitted films should document the beauty of our planet or highlight grievances in this context.

Filmmakers who recognize and implement this have an important influence on the future development of our world and are given an important forum with the NATOURALE.

About the festival

The NTFF has its origins in the Wiesbaden Nature Film Nights. Two to three times a year, German nature and environmental filmmakers show their work here and discuss it with the audience. The great success of this series of events has now motivated the organizers to take the next step and, with the NATOURALE, is now also giving international filmmakers the chance to present themselves to the public in the Hessian state capital of Wiesbaden.
