Invitation to take part in the "Europe competition"

To mark the unveiling of the new "European City" signs, the European Department is holding a competition until Wednesday, April 30.

Wiesbaden residents can win one of the following three prizes:

1st prize: Two Interrail tickets for a trip through Europe

2nd prize: Two day tickets for adults for Europa-Park in Rust

3rd prize: Two train tickets of your choice - to Strasbourg or Brussels

"By putting up the signs, we are inviting our citizens to consciously think about what Europe means to them and what place it has in their lives," explains Maral Koohestanian, Head of European Affairs.

Since April 1, creative statements on the personal significance of Europe can be submitted on the website of the City of Wiesbaden (opens in a new tab).

Maral Koohestanian, Head of European Affairs, adds: "I am already looking forward to many exciting submissions! Each and every one of us experiences Europe in our own way. With this competition, we want to make precisely these different perspectives visible and show how valuable a European identity can be for all of us."

More information about the competition can be found here (opens in a new tab).
