Committees meet
In the coming week, several committees of the city council will meet in public session. More information on the meetings can also be found at piwi.wiesbaden.de.
The Committee on Economic Affairs, Employment, Digitalization and Health will meet on Tuesday, 25 March, from 5 p.m. at City Hall, Schlossplatz 6, Room 22. Topics on the agenda include"The city rescuers", "Ideas for the city centre", "Continuation of the 'Kiezgarten' on Sedanplatz in 2025", "Situation and future of DKD", "Vacancy management in the city centre", "Digital participation of older people", "Basic digital training and further education of the population, especially senior citizens with individual end devices by municipal organizations and financing", "IT security at Wivertis GmbH", "Open interfaces as a standard for software procurement in Wiesbaden" and"Making fee notices and billing available digitally". There are also current reports from the Department of Economic Development, City Management on the "Vital Inner Cities" survey and the Office for Innovation, Organization and Digitization.
The Committee for Urban Development, Planning and Construction will meet on Tuesday, March 25, from 5 p.m. at City Hall, Schlossplatz 6, Room 318. The meeting will cover topics including the "Design concept for Schwalbacher Straße (sidewalks) in the construction section - Rheinstraße to Friedrichstraße", "Land use plan and regional plan for southern Hesse", "Status of Mauritiushöfe" and "Amendment to the land use plan for the 'Federal Criminal Police Office' planning area in the Erbenheim and south-east districts".
The meeting of the Committee for Finance and Participation will begin on Wednesday, March 26, at 5 p.m. in the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6, Room 22, and will cover topics including "Sickness levels in the city administration" and "Transparent cost structure of municipal companies". There will also be a report from the city treasurer on the current budget situation.
