Local councils meet

The Frauenstein, Erbenheim, Kastel, Delkenheim, Dotzheim, Bierstadt and Schierstein local advisory councils will be meeting next week. At the public meetings, citizens have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is taken up. Further information on the meetings can also be found at piwi.wiesbaden.de.

The Frauenstein local advisory council will meet on Tuesday, April 1, at 6 p.m. in the fire station, Kirschblütenstraße 24. Representatives from the school department will give a status report on the topic of "Renovation of the Alfred Delp School gymnasium". Motions from the parliamentary groups include the "Installation of a traffic mirror at the intersection of Georgenborner Straße, Kirschblütenstraße, Quellbornstraße and Herrnbergstraße" and the "Review and reorganization of the parking situation in the street 'Am Hermannsberg'". The financial resources of the local council are also discussed.

The meeting of the Erbenheim local advisory council will take place on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in the Bürgerhaus, Am Bürgerhaus 3. The "Amendment of the land use plan for the 'Federal Criminal Police Office' planning area in the local districts of Erbenheim and Südost" is the subject of discussion. The agenda also includes motions from the parliamentary groups on topics such as "Status of the improved concept for retail and local supply", "Oberfeld and Ringstrasse playgrounds", "Traffic lights at the Berliner Strasse/Am Hochfeld junction" and "Effects of the property tax reform in Erbenheim". The financial resources for 2025 will also be discussed.

The Kastel local advisory council will also meet on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in the Kastel/Kostheim local administration, meeting room, St. Veiter Platz 1. At the meeting, a new local court chairman will be elected and the members will discuss their financial resources. Motions from the parliamentary groups include "Traffic planning at the Kastel regional train station and on the nearby banks of the Rhine" and "Dissolution of the AKK finance commission".

The Delkenheim local advisory council will meet on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in the Bürgerhaus, Münchener Straße 2. Topics of discussion include the "Parking situation at the REWE supermarket", the "Traffic situation at Karl-Gärtner-Schule", "Better coordination of bus routes 44 and 48 in Delkenheim on Sundays" and financial resources.

The members of the Dotzheim local advisory council will meet on Wednesday, April 2, at 6.30 p.m. in the local administration building, Im Wiesengrund 14. They will be discussing "Leasehold properties in Kohlheck".

The Bierstadt local advisory council will meet on Thursday, April 3, at 6.30 pm in the local administration building, Poststraße 11a. It will discuss the 2025 funding and a citizen petition on the topic of "Loading zone at the corner of Schultheißstraße 23 and Patrickstraße 2". Motions from the parliamentary groups include "Trees to be preserved in the Bierstadt-Nord development area", "Playground in Nauroder Straße", "Rededication of farm track between Wolfsfeld housing estate and Bierstadt-Nord development area south of the green space as a footpath and cycle path" and "Concept procedure for Bierstadt-Nord development area".

The Schierstein local council will hold its meeting on Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in the local administration building, Karl-Lehr-Straße 6. The local council members will discuss the "Status of the Hans-Römer-Platz cycle path and pedestrian zone signage", the financial resources and receive reports from their working groups. A parliamentary group motion has been submitted on the subject of "Increasing littering of the pedestrian underpass and adjacent area under the Alfred-Schumann-Straße/Schönaustraße railroad".
