People who apply for asylum in Germany receive a certificate = residence permit after applying to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

You will receive your first residence permit from the Foreigners' Registration Office (initial issue) by post.

For the extension, please come to us at the following times: Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, room 001 (first floor).

Please always bring your current residence permit with you.

You do not need to make an appointment for the initial issue and extension of your residence permit at the Foreigners' Registration Office.
