Have you received a new passport and a residence permit (residence permit or settlement permit) from us? We will order a new residence permit for you with your new passport number.

Please make an appointment for this at the Foreigners' Registration Office under Online Service.

Vacation time is travel time: If you have travel plans and an appointment with us is not possible before your trip, you can still start your trip. All you need to do is carry the following documents with you when you travel:

- old passport
- new passport
- current residence permit

Important: Please remember that further conditions may apply in the country you wish to travel to. If necessary, please contact the diplomatic mission of the country in question in good time.
