At the beginning of the 19th century, a lively building activity began, which created the high-quality villa ensembles or the Ringstrasse development. With its villa areas, Wiesbaden today has an architectural heritage that must be preserved in its urban and architectural quality.

Like all areas of the city, the historic villa areas are also subject to urban development changes.
