Marketing activities of WICM GmbH in the first half of the year

The state capital was once again successfully marketed at national and international trade fairs in the first half of 2023.

Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH has started the new year with a tightly scheduled trade fair calendar - and the results of the presentations in Germany and abroad to market the state capital as a congress and conference location and as a tourist destination are reflected in promising figures after six months.

Our activities

  • Marketing the destination Wiesbaden Rheingau at the CMT in Stuttgart (around 256,000 guests) and at the world's largest travel trade fair, the ITB (International Tourism Exchange) in Berlin.
  • The plazy.app, which has even won an industry award in the meantime and puts together a tailor-made Wiesbaden program for travellers in just one minute
  • Joint appearance at "Travel Match Oslo", Norway's largest travel trade fair, together with Henkell Freixenet
  • Mediation of cultural, culinary, wine and wellness offers for tourist end consumers and trade visitors at CMT Stuttgart, ITB Berlin and the Germany Travel Mart TM (GTM) in Essen
  • Participation in the annual conference of the Federal Association of German Incoming Companies
  • Organization of a tourism dialogue in Eberbach Monastery (around 150 partners from the cultural, hotel and leisure sectors on the topic of "sustainable tourism").
  • The Discover Europe Travel Summit in cooperation with other European tourism associations (Austria, Switzerland, Ireland)
  • Participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the leading travel and tourism trade fair in the Gulf region
  • Presentation of Wiesbaden as a congress location at the eighth Convention Wiesbaden Campus in the Old Court in Wiesbaden
  • Presentation together with the Wiesbaden hotels and the new RMCC catering partner "Gauls Catering" at IMEX Frankfurt, the international trade fair for the congress, conference, event and incentive industry.
  • Invitation of buyers of tourism incentive services and event facilities from the UK and potential customers from South Africa to a destination exploration tour to Wiesbaden
  • Participation in the m&i Healthcare Forum in The Hague with 25 meetings with suitable contacts
