Form - Color - Freedom
Until April 27, the Kunsthaus is showing the exhibition "Form - Color - Freedom. 75 years of the Artists' Group50".
Founded by the painter, gallery owner and honorary citizen of the state capital of Wiesbaden Christa Moering and the painter Heinz-Rudi Müller, the Künstlergruppe50 has been active for three quarters of a century as a permanent institution, community of interest, creative circle and ever-expanding network.
The group has lived and breathed in and with Wiesbaden for 75 years - a reason to celebrate! Under the motto "75 years of form, color, freedom", the 17 active artists present themselves in a group exhibition at Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, inviting visitors to enter into a dialogue with themselves and their work, showing familiar and new things, looking back and looking forward. Here, painting meets sculpture and photography meets digital painting in an exciting and playful way.
With 41 works by the active artists and selected works by Christa Moering and Heinz-Rudi Müller, the exhibition is both an anniversary show and an interim testimony in equal measure. "Form - Color - Freedom. 75 Jahre Künstlergruppe50" offers the opportunity to get to know the Künstlergruppe50 anew, together with their current individual positions and ideas. The Kunsthaus is looking forward to lively dialog, exciting discoveries and new perspectives.
The exhibition was curated by Jana Dennhard.
