Companies that want to become environmentally and climate fit can achieve two goals at once with the extended ECOPROFIT+Climate offer. The new ECOPROFIT+Climate module offers companies and organizations the basis for effective climate management in addition to recognized environmental management.

The participating companies:

• prepare a carbon footprint (this is drawn up in accordance with a globally recognized standard for measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions (Greenhouse Gas Protocol including Scope 3 emissions)),
• develop a strategy with concrete steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save energy and conserve resources and
• receive legal certainty and, after successful completion, certification in environmental management as an ECOPROFIT company.

As part of nine workshops and four consultation sessions, the companies are supported in improving their own environmental and climate performance and at the same time achieving cost savings.
