We want to continuously improve our service for you. It is particularly important to us to be available and reliable for you, but also to make our decisions and issue building permits as quickly as possible. To achieve all of this, we are therefore reviewing our existing processes and procedures in order to adapt and improve them accordingly.

The issue of "completeness and quality of building applications submitted" plays a crucial role in ensuring more reliable and accelerated building permit procedures. We therefore want to act faster and more consistently in this respect in future, so that your complete building application can be processed quickly.

This means that we will start our processing with a purely formal completeness check and either confirm completeness or send you a final list of additional requirements in a timely manner. However, if submitted applications are so incomplete that they cannot be checked by us, they will be returned to you immediately so that you can complete the documents without time pressure.

In the case of incomplete applications for which you receive a list of additional requirements, you have four weeks to submit the missing building documents. A one-off, short extension of this deadline for good cause is possible in individual cases.

Once you have completed your application within the deadline, we will process it. However, we ask for your understanding that we will make use of the authorization in Section 70 Para. 2 Sentence 3 HBO after the four-week deadline has expired if the building documents are still missing. Your application will then be returned to you as withdrawn. This is the only way we can process and decide on your building applications quickly, reliably and efficiently.
