WVV Wiesbaden Holding GmbH was founded in May 2000 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state capital of Wiesbaden.

The tasks of WVV are divided into four main areas

• Financial management
• Liaison between investments, administration and politics
• Creating transparency and identifying opportunities and risks
• Project management of Group issues

Since 2016, the Group Audit department of the state capital of Wiesbaden (LHW) has been organizationally affiliated with WVV. Group Internal Audit audits all companies that are included in the scope of consolidation of LHW as part of the consolidated financial statements.
