Social service
The social services specialists provide information, advice and support to expectant parents, (single) parents, children and young people on many issues relating to family life, parenting and everyday life, maintenance, custody and rights of access.
In addition to supporting parents, they also check for indications of possible child endangerment and ensure the protection of children at risk.
Advice and network coordination for specialists and multipliers in the areas of early help, parent education, parenting centers and child protection are also part of the social services spectrum.
Citizens of Wiesbaden are also advised in the care authority on legal care and legal precautions.
The various topics and focal points are assigned to different specialist areas. Further information can be found under products and services further down on this page.
