The "Auf dem Hahnenkamm in Dotzheim" planning area is located on the edge of Dotzheim's town center. It is surrounded by the existing buildings on Wiesbadener Straße and the buildings in the extension of Oberer Wingertweg. To the south, it borders directly on the Belzbachtal valley. The plan area is approx. 4.5 ha in size.

Numerous objectives are being pursued with the development of the area under the guiding principle of sustainable neighborhood development. The plan area is to be integrated into the existing settlement structure, have a compact building structure, offer differentiated residential and usage options and help citizens to identify with the new district. The district should also create added value for the adjoining neighborhood.
